Category – Adult Youth Advocate

Awardee: Therese Sawyer

Youth have met Therese in different positions from Paramedic, Coach, and now, trusted Health Teacher. Youth say she is their motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to keep moving forward and grow. As a community, we thank her for sharing her heart, faith, and commitment to our young people. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


2017

Category – Youth Civic Service Award

Awardee: Jazmine Benitez

This was awarded to Jazmine for her ongoing demonstration of outstanding community service to the Quincy Valley. Her altruistic efforts as the City Council Student Representative, DECA member, and youth group has positively benefited the community.

Category – Youth Leadership Award

Awardee: Sandra Huezo

Modeling the strength and courage of leadership, Sandra was selected for the 2017 Youth Leadership Award. She demonstrated excellence and a track record of being a leader and role model for her peers.

Category – Lifetime Youth Advocacy Award

Awardee: Manuel Ramos

Due to his advocacy, mentorship, and faith in all Quincy Valley youth, Manuel obtains this recognition. His dedication of time, commitment, and faith in our youth is the reason he is the 2017 Lifetime Youth Advocacy adult representative.
