Environmental strategies are measures within a community that seeks to bring about system-level change in order to reduce substance use problems at the population level. This includes an adaptation of physical space, local community policies, and the availability of drugs and alcohol.
Quincy Partnership for Youth currently has had 3 environmental strategies on our Action Plan.
- Drug-Free Parks Policy
- Review of school disciplinary policy as it relates to substance use on school grounds
- Grant Integrated Services policy that provides sustainable facilitators to QPY programs such as Strengthening Families and SPORT
