Parent Education Night: Raising Safe Digital Kids. Parent Strategies for Online Safety
Parent Education Night: Keeping Kids Safe in a Digital World
Parents and caregivers, this event is for you!
Quincy Partnership for Youth and Quincy School District invites all families in the area to a special Parent Education Night focused on the real online risks kids are facing today and what you can do to help keep them safe.
From social media to online gaming and the rise of artificial intelligence, youth are navigating a digital world that is constantly changing. This evening is designed to give you clear, practical information, not overwhelm you.
You’ll hear directly from a Threat Assessment Coordinator from ESD and have time to ask questions about what you’re seeing at home and what you’re worried about.
Topics will include:
- What parents need to know about social media trends and risks
- Online gaming spaces and hidden dangers
- How artificial intelligence is showing up in kids’ daily lives
- Warning signs that something may not be right
- Simple tools and strategies for staying connected and aware
- How to start conversations with your child that actually work
You don’t need to be a tech expert. You just need a place to get honest answers and support.
What You Can Expect:
- A free meal for your family
- Free childcare during the event
- No cost to attend—everything is covered for you
