Results

How we’ve been doing:
17 cycles of SMART Moves have been offered, over 150 youth reached.
11 Spanish language cycles and 4 English language cycles of GGC offered, over 200 parents reached.
3rd school year of Tutoring underway, over 50 students reached.

Challenge and Next Steps:
We have had great success so far. Positive testimonials from participants in all programs are reinforced by positive pre/post survey results.

We also have a strong network in place.
Approximately 50 community members and stakeholders are part of the CTC Board.
Now, we need to sustain our efforts so we can continue to grow and strengthen.

We must:
Seek ways to institutionalize programs and efforts.
Strengthen and increase program promotion and recruitment.
Establish connections with more resources on the county, state & national level.
